How to Play | Real VR Fishing

HOW TO PLAY

1. MOVEMENT IN THE LODGE

You can turn left and right by moving the thumbstick.

Pushing forward the thumbstick to the direction you want to move and releasing it will transport you to the direction

2. CHANGING LURES

The fish’s preference varies depending on the lure you choose.

The fish will change color. Green means good, and red means poor.

Change lures by moving thumbstick to the left or right.

3. CASTING

As you hold down the trigger button, lift the controller.

And release the button while quickly waving down towards the fish.

4. RETRIEVING

Reel in the line by whirling your other controller while pressing the grip or the trigger button. 

Wind the line slowly to lure the fish.

5. HOOK SET

An arrow will appear when a fish bites the lure.

A big fish occasionally tries to run away quickly. Then, stop reeling and wait until it calms down.

6. REELING

Whirl the controller or press the trigger button to reel the line.

The gauge on the screen and the color of the fishing line indicate the stress of the line.

Try to keep the gauge between red and blue bars.

7. FIGHTING

When the fish tries to run away, move the controller in the direction of the arrow.

Unless you are tilting it to the proper direction, fish will run away further.

8. HEAD SHAKING

Big fish often jump over the water and try to get away.

Swing the controller quickly in the direction of the arrow to avoid escaping.

9. FISH STATUS

  • Normal: Normal condition.
  • Moving: Move your rod to the direction of the bar to fill the gauge faster.
  • Rage: Line will break if you reel in the line. Wait until it stops.
  • Faint: Reel in the line fast when a fish has fainted.

10. LINE COLOR INDICATION

  • White: Normal line tension.
  • Red: High line tension. Stop reeling in to avoid breaking the line.
  • Blue: Loose line tension. Wind the reel to avoid letting the fish off the hook.
  • Green: Fish is in a faint state. Reel in the line quickly.

11. LANDING

When a fish comes near, you will see an arrow.

Lift the controller up quickly to catch the fish.

12. KEEP OR RELEASE

You can trade the fish with EXP or credits.

Gaining EXP will let you level up and open more stages; With credits, you can buy fishing tackles.

You can rotate the fish with the thumbstick.

Make a selection with the trigger button.

13. MENU

You change tackles, difficulty, graphic settings, and camera position on the menu.

You can select the menus by pointing your controller towards them and pressing the trigger button. 

Press B or Y button to turn on the menu.

14. DIFFICULTY

You can choose a difficulty for better rewards and more realistic fishing experience.

Once you get used to the game, try to change the difficulty to hide UIs.

15. SETTINGS

You can use the store at the cabin and change the music player and aquarium settings.

You can adjust various settings in the settings menu.

16. ACHIEVEMENTS

Get rewards by completing a variety of achievements.

You will earn unlockable items when you reach level 3 for each achievement.

Trophies can be found on the shelf.

17. AQUARIUM

You can decorate your aquarium with the items you have acquired through a store or achievements.

You get a fish count for every 5 fish you catch and a single catch for any rare species for your aquarium.

18. MUSIC PLAYER AND SCREENSHOT

During gameplay, you can listen to music and watch videos. If you want to listen to mp3 files, copy them into the device’s music folder.

Press A or X to take a screenshot and find it in Oculus Gallery. Please allow permission to access your photo, media and files on your service
